The Hemingway Daiquiri is a variation of the traditional Daiquiri cocktail and is said to have been a favorite of Ernest Hemingway. The drink is believed to have originated at the El Floridita bar in Havana, Cuba in the 1930s, where Hemingway was a regular customer. The traditional recipe includes white rum, lime juice, maraschino liqueur, and grapefruit juice, which gives the drink a unique, tangy flavor. The Hemingway Daiquiri is also sometimes referred to as the "Papa Doble" or "Hemingway Special."
